Castle School Friends committee
Our committee is a friendly group and joining is a great way to get involved in school life and meet new people. Anyone can join, and we always welcome new members. It can sometimes be a bit daunting joining a new group on your own, so why not come along and bring a friend? See below for our current vacancies, and check out our upcoming events for future meeting dates.

Join us!
We’re currently looking for a volunteer to join the Castle School Friends committee as secretary. If you’re organised, have a good eye for detail and can spare a couple of hours a month, this role might be right up your street! As secretary you’ll attend the monthly committee meetings, take notes and circulate them to the group. Why not volunteer with a friend and job share?

Our lovely treasurer will also be stepping down at the end of the summer term, and we're looking for someone to take over this role. As treasurer you'll keep track of all our finances and report regularly to the committee. If you think this is something that you'd be able to help with, please let us know.

Do you have an eye for design? Could you spare an hour or two a month? If so, we need you! We are looking for someone to help us design posters and publicity materials for our events. This is an occasional role and it’s a great way to get involved with Castle School Friends without a regular time commitment (although you would of course be welcome to join our committee too if you’d like to). We run around 6-8 different events each year and would love to find someone who can design posters, flyers and social media marketing material to help us promote them.

We always welcome general committee members and helpers too, whether you can only spare a little time or want to get more involved. Please get in touch – we’d love to hear from you!
