Buy from our Amazon wishlist
Buy items for the school from our Amazon wishlist – this is a great way to donate specific items to the school which make a real difference for both pupils and staff.  Don’t forget to share the list with your family and friends.

Support us while you shop online
Sign up for Easyfundraising to support us whenever you shop online.  There's no cost to you, and Castle School Friends receive a donation every time you shop!

Donate school supplies
There are lots of items that Castle School always needs, including student resources such as pencils, protractors, calculators and revision guides, and common household items such as magazines and newspapers, coffee filters and plant pots.  Find out more at the links below:

If you have any of these items that are no longer being used, please donate them to us!  Drop them off at Castle School reception in a bag labelled ‘Donation - for attention of Ruth Gale’.

Use the textile recycling bin
Declutter your home, support a good cause and help save the planet, all at the same time!  Use the textile recycling bin, located at the front of the school near reception.  When you donate your clothes, belts, bags, paired shoes and soft toys they will all get converted to cash to support a good cause chosen by the Student Council.  Please don’t donate duvets, pillows, bric-a-brac or plastic toys.  All the textiles are graded, which helps determine where they go next, but no textiles go to landfill.

Attend an event – have fun and help raise money at the same time!
Come along to one of our events – support us, have fun and help raise money for our school!  Why not volunteer to help out for an hour or two?

Come along to one of our DIY or gardening days to help make a real difference to the school environment. Our volunteer days start at 9.30am and you can spend as long as you want with us.  We will look after you with plenty of tea, coffee and cake!

Join our committee
Volunteer to join our committee – it's a great way to make new friends and get involved in supporting your school.  Anyone can join us, and we always welcome new members, whether you've only got a little time to spare or want to get more involved.  It can sometimes be a bit daunting joining a new group on your own, so why not come along and bring a friend?  We’d love to hear from you!

Spread the word – tell us about funding opportunities
Tell us if you hear of a funding opportunity.  Maybe you’ve come across something in the newspaper, or heard about a funding scheme through your workplace?  If you think it might be relevant, please contact us and let us know.

Find out about match funding
Does your employer provide match funding?  This is where they agree to match a certain amount of funding raised by another organisation.  It’s a great way for them to support a good cause in their local community, and gives a great boost to our fundraising efforts!  We're always keen to hear about any match funding opportunities - please do contact us and let us know if this is something that you can help with.
