Events

Castle School Friends run a whole range of activities to support the work of the school and raise vital funds.  This includes hands-on DIY and gardening days that make a real difference to the school and fun events that bring people together and help to create a sense of community.

What’s coming up?

Join us in December for a mince pie and a chat! We have an open meeting of the Castle School Friends when we would love to share what we do and discuss ideas for the future.

Our goal is always to bring together the school community, and have fun raising funds for school. If you’ve ever wondered if this could be for you, now’s your chance.

We are delighted that Castle School’s head teacher Jessica Lobbett is joining us for the session which is on Tuesday 12 December at 7pm in the school library.

We hope to see you there!

In December we will also be providing refreshments at the school's Christmas Music Concert, then in mid-January we'll be keeping everyone fed and watered at a popular running race starting from school.

Castle School Friends committee meetings
Would you like to be part of a friendly group making a positive difference to our school?  Want to get more involved in school life and meet new people?  Then why not bring a friend and come along to one of our committee meetings.  Anyone can join us, and we always welcome new members, whether you've only got a little time to spare or want to get more involved.  We usually meet on the second Tuesday of every month in Thornbury.

Drop us an email at enquiries@castleschoolfriends.org or message us on our Facebook page.  We'd love you to join us!
